BLUEdev Ltd is a start up company founded in Patras, Greece, providing superior consulting, implementation and manufacturing services.
Team members are distinguished by their functional and technical expertise, gained during 15 years of hands-on experience in the design and development of consumer embedded products with Asian manufacturers, thereby ensuring that clients receive the most effective and professional service for the successful completion of new products.
Business activities include engineering and consulting services in the embedded systems industry, by performing the necessary research where needed and developing industry prototype as appropriate. BLUEdev delivers reference designs and manufacturing tools for the end product in terms of hardware, software and industrial design to achieve short time to market for our customers.
We are already working on the new Microsoft .NET Micro Framework, by both migrating our software modules to the new platform, e.g. a fuzzy logic inference engine module targeting both control and AI decision problems, and developing the necessary drivers/applications for use with custom or 3rd party boards. Our technology has been successfully applied to R&D projects and is currently transferred to consumer and industrial products as well.

While our headquarters are located in Patras, two additional sites in Athens and Ioannina have been recently started operational activities. The former is focused in the area of software engineering, while the latter provides product development services using Digital Mock Up (DMU) simulation methods, beginning from the conceptional design right through to the prototype development and the final product manufacturing. Numerous studies, regarding the product’s ergonomy and functionality, aesthetic design, FE and NC Processing are undertaken during this process.
