Android Drives Smartphone Growth in Western Europe and Ramps Up to Overtake Symbian and Become Biggest Smartphone OS in 2011, Says IDC

LONDON, December 15, 2010 — The Western European mobile phone market grew 7.5% year on year to 50.7 million units in 3Q10, according to IDC's European Mobile Phone Tracker. Shipments of smartphones increased to 19 million units, 109% higher than last year's third quarter, to represent 37% of total shipments. Our company has also participated on the Hi-Tech Innovators’ Partenariat, that took place in Thessaloniki – Greece, on October 5th and 6th of 2007, during the International Fair INFOSYSTEM 2007, for the sectors of information technology, software, research and advanced technology.

 

The aim of the “Hi-Tech Innovators’ Partenariat” was to promote the Greek production of the specific sectors, to strengthen the extraversion and the strategic collaboration of the Greek companies.
