Tools and utilities for Fast Embedded Systems Development

Most embedded systems employ a set of industry standard interfaces and busses such as SPI, I2C and USART. While developing a new system, or simply connecting a new peripheral, it is usually very difficult to do some system integration tests and to verify the expected functionality of the connected devices, until the whole software has been developed and deployed (operating system, device drivers and application). The inherited risk of debugging both SW and HW in the same time can be the origin of missleading problems, long test runs, overdue schedules and headaches for the QA department.

A much better and efficient integration procedure may be followed by using Right Trace, our generic but programmable testing platform to verify the functionality of the connected devices, and lead to a stable hardware and software codesign from the early stages of the embedded system life cycle.
