- Standard : Tracks width > 150 microns, FR4, photo-sensitive soldermask
- High density : fine tracks width ≤ 150 microns, FR4
- Special types : thick copper, thin core, jumpers, shielding planes, golden PCBs, hard gold, etc..
- Multilayer PCBs :
- Standard (4,6 layers) : FR4, photosensitive soldermask.
- Specials types : thick copper, thin core, etc…
- High layer count ( 8 to 20 layers)
- High density ( HDI ) : Micro-via technology, build-up construction, laser holes, bumps, very small tracks, etc…
- Low cost 4 layers : CPTH, polymer holes with copper paste, FR4 ( Sony technology )
- Back panels : thick PCBs, press-fit technology, large size PCBs.
